OutaStory on every device
Read on the move, write where you work best
Reading apps for mobile
OutaStory's reading experience is built for the small screen — one-handed navigation, long-form typography, and offline chapters so you can keep a story with you on the commute, on a flight, or in the quiet hour before sleep.
- A reader tuned for long fiction — adjustable font family, size, and line height, including a dyslexia-friendly typeface
- Automatic pagination with remembered position across devices, so you can pick up on your phone exactly where you left off on another screen
- Offline chapters — download a story over Wi-Fi and keep reading without a connection
- Audio chapters for selected stories, with a playback speed control and a native background-audio player
- Comments, ratings, and follows — react to what you just read without leaving the page
- Youth-protection aware — minor-safe browsing without a sign-in; richer catalogue after login
Available for Android and iOS.
Writing apps for desktop and tablet
The writing experience lives where most authors actually work — a real desktop app on macOS and Windows, and a hands-on editor for iPad when you want to draft on the couch or in a café. Everything syncs back to the cloud in real time.
- A distraction-free chapter editor with keyboard-first navigation and word-count targets per chapter
- Revision history — every save is a recoverable version; nothing is lost when you change your mind tomorrow
- Cover management — upload your own, pick from the platform palette, or commission an AI-assisted cover from within the app
- Character notes, category selection, and rights (copyright and Creative Commons options) kept alongside the manuscript
- Pencil and touch support on iPad — annotate your own drafts the way you would on paper
- Publish to the community when a chapter is ready, or keep it as a draft until the arc is finished
Available for iPadOS, macOS, and Windows.
Get OutaStory for Windows
Download the desktop app directly from us. One installer ships both x64 and ARM64 — Windows picks the matching build at install time, so the same link works whether you're on an Intel laptop or a Snapdragon tablet.
First-time installers may see "Windows protected your PC" — click "More info" then "Run anyway". This warning fades as more users install the app safely; we sign every build but reputation accrues over the first few weeks of each release.
One account, every device
Every app signs in with the same OutaStory account. Your drafts, reading position, comments, and subscription travel with you from phone to tablet to desktop. A story started on the train continues on the laptop at home without a second click.
Store links will activate when the apps pass review on each platform. Until then, these buttons mark the exact places you'll find us.
